Week of birthday.

Jeff took the day off for my birthday. That was a nice treat. He also got our kids set up with babysitters and we were off to the Getty Center. It was great. I should've worn different shoes...my feet were killing me after an hour. The views are spectacular from up there. Jeff showered me with clothes and even took me to pick out some clothes...since some of the stuff he picked out didn't quite work.

Part of my birthday week of events...we had my brother and wife take on the 3 kids and we were off to Monterey, CA. It was fantastic. On Friday, I had an hour full body massage. I was very reluctant...but I figured I could treat myself and it was pretty great. I was a bit awkward because I didn't really know what would really happen...but it was relaxing...except when I was in semi-good-pain. Jeff and I got some FANTASTIC bbq oysters and then headed to the wharf for dinner on the bay. We then headed to bed at 8ish. I love blackout curtains. We headed to Lovers Point for breakfast and took in the spectacular coast. Then we drove home and back to chaos. It was great. Thanks so much! It was just what I needed Jeff!

Monterey

So, I'm actually going out of town with Jeff to Monterey, CA this weekend...maybe, if the kids stay relatively safe and healthy and my willing brother and sister-in-law stay willing to guard my kids...
I only really know of the aquarium there, does anyone have any ideas of stuff to do there or places to eat? I hate going places and not knowing where to go and once we're back we find tons of stuff we could have done.
If anyone has ideas leave me a comment.

So, we watched Lost last night with the Fornelli's. Had some food and DHARMA provided the drinks. It was fun to watch it with people who have kept up with it from the start. Does this make me a nerd?

Take me out to the ballgame...

Jeff and David headed to the game.

Happy 1st Birthday Vanessa!

Our little Vanessa turned 1 on the 11th and we had a week full of celebration and cake...lots and lots of cake.

Chocolate cake...yummy!

Vanessa loved it when we sang to her.

More cake...she approves!

Happy Mothers Day to all the mommas out there...especially my mom and and my mother-in-law, Mary. You are two amazing women and I'm glad to have you there.

I made this for my mom.

Vanessa kind of saying mama.
