David now likes to pull himself up in his crib. Needless to say that I had to drop his crib to a safer level. The little guy might hurt himself if he climbs up and tips over. This picture was taken in the middle of the night, when he should've been sleeping, he's so proud of himself.

How cute! Well, to answer your question about the road trip...it was lousy. At about the middle of the trip Clark started crying every time we put him back in his carseat. He was so sick of that thing, and he was really grumpy while he was in there unless he was sleeping, which he didn't do a whole lot. So, your fears are totally legitimate! But, we all survived and he's forgotten all about it by now. Life goes on and the trip was worth it, even if the driving was horrible.
How old is David? I think he is close to the same age as the twins. Anyways, hope you find Minnie Mouse. That is so sad. My sister in law buys to of favorite stuffed animals so if one gets lost she has a back up.
